I've upgraded the site yet again. It's now on CMS 1.2.3 and I can continue testing. I finally got rid of all of those silly warning messages. Enjoy.

This is it, this is our home page. Here you'll find all kind of information about our blended family, our interests and hobbies, and our trials and tribulations. Feel free to look around, post a comment, drop us a line, get to know us... whatever. We're a friendly bunch (honest).

all seven of us

Local Headlines:

Who we are:
  • Him: Robert.... now 36 (argh) a computer programmer, really into archery and beer making, and families. He's been doing alot of work lately on php, and c++/qt, maintaines the network, and order and the house.

  • Her: Helen..... about 36, a home maker, friendly, personable, a great mother, and also likes archery (cool eh). Shee's also really into genealogy, she's gotten me into it of late, take a look at our genealogy section.

  • Thomas... Age 14. Thomas is a smart kid, likes to impress people, and is a hard worker, he loves sports and video games. He's really learned alot in the last year, and is starting to become a man.

  • Christopher Glenn AKA Pookie... Age 7 - Smart as a whip, he's finished the first grade now, and we're proud as hell of his progress. His reading and math capabilities are outstanding.

  • Christopher Shane.... Age 6 god help us, a fun kid, smart, he learns well and is fun to be around. He's also finished his first grade, and it's amazing the progress of the little ones.

  • Gabrial.... Age 5.. He's huge, massive, and I don't know why he's not slimmer, cuz he runs and runs and runs and runs. He likes to please, he's Daddy's boy, loves to play, but you can see the devil in his eyes. We sometimes call him Gabe the inhaler because he can eat and eat, and eat. This summer he ate twice as much as the adults do at any given meal, and was still ready, willing, and able to go out on his bike (he's addicted to it) 5 minutes later.

  • Alyshia..... Age 5.... A sweetie. She likes to impress people and is now finished her year at kindergarten. She's a special needs kid, and the only problem with that is she knows it, and uses it to allof her advantage. We're changing that though.

Yeah, we have four young kids, all within 3 months of each other (more or less), and to boot, two of em are named Christopher. You can imagine that on the weekends when all of the kids are at home, life gets kinda hectic. but it's always a blast.

The kids are growing up so fast. In the past year, they've learned to ride bicycles, read, write... they're avid baseball players, and all now take an active role in maintaining the house. They're growing into young adults already.
